Hello and welcome! We are thrilled you are interested in publishing with Orange Blossom. Our press caters to a mostly female audience, focusing on love, humor, wellness, and children's books. We welcome authors of all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds and appreciate the opportunity to specifically share more female, LGBTQ, and neurodivergent voices. 

Here is some helpful info:

Book Submissions:

  • Currently accepting: middle grade fiction and adult romance from any author. All subgenres welcome. Any spice level for romance. ​
  • New! We are also looking to publish one Central Florida author in any genre except picture books, poetry, horror, graphic novels, or nonfiction. Author must reside in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, or Lake county.
  • ​Please no graphic rape, child abuse, or abortion scenes in any submission.
  • No works created by AI will be accepted.
  • We are very selective about which projects we decide to take on.

Blog Submissions:

  • Currently accepting nonfiction posts at least 500 words, preferably broken into sections with headings
  • Topics include anything about writing or publishing, or aimed at our target audience of parents, educators, and women (no book or service promo)
  • Original submissions preferred, writer retains all rights to their work
  • Selected posts will have full bio with headshot and link at the bottom of the post
  • ​Posts will be sent out to email list and posted on our social media

  • We do not accept any submissions created with AI.
  • Submissions must be unpublished and the intellectual property of the submitter.
  • Author must reside in Orange, Osceola, Lake, or Seminole County. Please write in your query which county you live in.
  • Any genre is welcome except picture books, poetry, horror, graphic novels, or nonfiction.
  • Please do not submit more than one query at a time. You are welcome to complete another submission once you have received a response from the previous one. 
  • We are very selective about which projects we decide to take on. Any project we decide to publish must be in alignment with our brand about love, wellness, and/or humor with a focus on women or children. These themes can be expanded, for example "love" includes self-love, love of family, romantic love, love of friends...
Submit to Adult Romance Submissions

  • Adult romance word count should be approximately 70K - 95K (romantasy can be longer).
  • Any subgenre of adult romance is welcome. 
  • Any heat level of romance is welcome. 
  • Please do not submit more than one query at a time. You are welcome to complete another submission once you have received a response from the previous one. 
  • We are very selective about which projects we decide to take on. Any project we decide to publish must be in alignment with our brand about love, wellness, and/or humor with a focus on women or children. Blog Post Submissions
Submit to Blog Post Submissions

We publish blog posts on topics that appeal to women, parents, teachers, and librarians, as well as writing and publishing topics. Here are some examples:

Posts must be at least 500 words in length, be nonfiction with a clear takeaway, and headings are preferred to boost SEO. Writer retains rights to their work. 

All posts have a byline at the top and a separate section at the bottom with author headshot, bio, and link. We share all published posts across our social media and in our newsletter. 

Submit to Middle Grade Fiction Submissions
